Leading business development for international programs of ACCESS Health.

ACCESS Health International is a nonprofit think tank and advisory group dedicated to improving access to high quality, affordable healthcare in low, middle, and high income countries. We advise national and regional governments and the private sector on the design and management of healthcare finance and delivery systems. Our team members reside in country. We establish long term relationships within each country to address both national and local healthcare needs. We identify and develop leaders in healthcare in the countries where we work.

Management consulting.

Documented and evaluated the development process of programs to reduce maternal mortality in Malawi. WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA and the Ministry of Health in Malawi were the main actors.

Advisor to the delegation of the European Commission to the United Nations and the assistant of European Commission President J. M. Barroso during the UN General Assembly Highlevel plenary meeting. Responsibilities included preparations for bilateral meetings and participation in negotiations for the outcome document of the UN General Assembly High-level plenary meeting.

Project assistant at Youth Employment Summit. Supported the network’scountry coordinators in their work to build in-country coalitions to developnational strategies addressing youth unemployment. I also supported countrydelegations in their preparations for the YES Ministerial Forum in Mexico,2004.

Earned an internship focusing on economic and financial affairs includingdevelopment and environment matters. Responsible for the delegation’sparticipation at the Commission for Sustainable Development’s annual meeting.

Project manager of The Swedish Youth Parliament for the Environment. Overall responsibilities including fundraising and development, tasks like giving lectures at high schools and colleges on sustainable development.
