Research fellow in law at the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights. My research will focus on the Special Court for Sierra Leone, international criminal law and international criminal justice. Teaching Women’s Law and Human Rights (Spring 2013), as well as lectures on international criminal law and legal writing. Co-coaching the 2014 University of Oslo Telders moot team.

Teaching a course in International Human Rights Law to students participating in the English Language Based Bachelor of Law (ELBBL) program, at the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Design my own syllabus from scratch, structure my own classes and determine the criteria for grading. Also coached the RULE JESSUP team, teaching the students oral legal advocacy skills.

Working for the NUON Chea defence team, in Case 002 at the ECCC. Conducting legal research and drafting court filings, utilizing international and comparative civil and common law domestic jurisprudence; assisting with trial preparation, cross-examination strategy, and evidence analysis, including use of ZyLAB software.

Research Assistant for Professor Matthias Mahlmann, primarily gathered research on different topics in public international law.

Primarily responsible for covering legal issues and the international institutions located in The Hague; including the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, the Special Court for Sierra Leone, the Permanent Court of Arbitration and the International Courts of Justice. Participated in the Kosovo case at the International Courts of Justice and contributing to drafting the Norwegian oral statement in said case. Also represented Norway at international multilateral conferences.

I worked as a volunteer English and French teacher in Saint-Louis Senegal, and taught in a local Secondary School. Also worked with a local NGOs working on issues concerning street children, as well as volunteering in local kindergartens.
