As an IT project manager at the Landbrugsstyrelsen, I am responsible for initiating a complex cross-functional project aimed at developing IT support for the upcoming regulation of agriculture. This effort put the IT team months ahead of schedule due an increased efficiency in grasping the scope of the necessary IT solution.Established connections between previous analysis results and the current project to provide recommendations and plans for the upcoming project process. I maintained close communication with other departments in the agency and ensured collaboration with stakeholders. By revising conclusions from older iterations of the project, I was able to highlight areas that had been mismanaged and where we needed to focus our efforts in order to gain traction in the analysis phase.My time at the Danish Agriculture Agency has further strengthened my project management skills and I chose to underscore those abilities by obtaining my PRINCE2 certification and subsequent courses in Agile and SAFe project management.

During my time at Verisk, I worked as a Senior Analyst II and Manager, and had the following responsibilities:Managed both short-term and long-term IT projects within our Boston team, involving close collaboration with other departments in Research and customization of our product in partnership with external customers and stakeholders. This iterative process ensured that our results were in line with the expectation of the stakeholders and prevented unnecessaryrework and delays.As part of our software development projects, I led our team in India in close coordination with our Boston team, which included daily project management and long-term planning. My efforts resulted in quality deliverables from our India team that provided the work that our teams needed. I also created documentation for our work processes and SQL best-practices, which proved to be an invaluable resource for new team members. This document was iteratively updated to include new innovation and database structure. During my time at Accenture, I have fulfilled the following roles:- Functional tester for a large Danish retail business. In cooperation with the test lead, we developed the test plan and prepared all necessary test scripts in preparation for the build phase of a mobile application. - Java and SQL developer at a large Nordic bank. I took over a paternity leave for a senior software developer analyst and thus conquered a steep learning curve within a short time. My responsibilities were in monitoring the daily batch jobs and the integration of data as well as general bug-fixing in Java and overall maintenance of the application.- Siebel and SQL developer at Nordic insurance company. Part of the mainframe and Siebel team and contribute to the maintenance and further development of batch jobs, SQL extracts and our Siebel applications.
