I have been passionate in my commitment to three things: maximizing individual student performance, inspiring students’ interest in technology and instilling a sense of self- worth among all students. I have dedicated my career to each of these pursuits.My qualification includes 23 years of experience teaching in high school , and coaching math the last four years at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. I celebrate diversity, achieve academic excellence and use technology as a learning tool. I am a great listener and patient. I believe knowledge and communication skills are essential for this position, which are my strengths. When I was working as a Mathematics Teacher in Persia, I needed to be organized in the classroom with 30+ students. In addition, I took the initiative to solve multiple questions and concerns without judgement. My students relied on me to be a positive support and guide them to success.As a teacher, I utilize a process to help each student be successful. I begin by evaluating each student’s level of learning, and then initiate different ways to solve the student’s area of concern. To make the problem more understandable for the students, I give them real life examples. Through this system I am able to instill confidence in the student and increase their feelings of self-efficacy.
