I am a researcher at Bangor University interested in planetary and public health, climate change and sustainability research. I have been conducting research from a Wales perspective and focus for ten years. I work at the Centre for Health Economics and Medicines Evaluation (CHEME) as a Transdisciplinary Health Economics across multiple projects, and as an Evidence Reviewer. As part of the Places of Climate Change (PloCC) research centre I have worked on two projects focusing on evaluating community perceptions and involvement in climate projects aiming at low carbon emissions and environmental sustainability. I am still actively developing further research collaboration and identifying future research needs in this field. I have a background in the low carbon sector, including bid writing for large projects. I completed my PhD in Film Studies at Bangor University in 2022, analysing Welsh cinema of the last thirty years through the prism of postcolonial theory, and I’m also interested in further research into green initiatives and sustainability in film.I am interested in cultures of well-being - bringing the health of people and planet together, and with my arts & humanities background developing more understanding in the role of culture in sustainability, well-becoming and behaviour change.Previous roles include CV and job searching advice, writing mentor, event promotion and project administration.
