WesDyne is a global supplier of state-of-the-art non-destructive examination (NDE) products and services. WesDyne is part of the Westinghouse group and the majority of the customers are in the nuclear industry. Objects examined are for instance welds in the active area of nuclear power plants.The projects I managed for WesDyne involved qualifying a method for the NDE examination, to design and assemble a machine for the task (hardware and software), staff training, documentation, going to site and to perform the examination with a project team working day and night shifts.

During 2014 I managed a terminology project for Atlas Cooco Mining and Rock Excavation (now Epiroc). The project involved making a collection of mining terms for a term bank, setting up a process for terminology management, evaluate terminology management applications (termbanks) including ROIs, and to educate the organization in terminology management. The project team members were situated in various places around the world.A similar project was conducted for Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly 2015 and on. The rapid development of software products required standardization of the language used on their displays and in all translations.

Atlas Copco is an industrial group with world-leading positions in compressors, construction and mining equipment, power tools and assembly systems. The Group delivers sustainable solutions for increased customer productivity, through innovative products and services.I was responsible for the Atlas Copco Group's standards in following areas:- Design rules, including drawing (CAD) rules, design processes, safety standards, manufacturing processes and more. - Terminology.- Symbols and safety signs.The work included giving advice on existing internal and external standards, develop and write new standards, lead or participate in various project groups, maintain and develop databases for master data and more.

Multisoft develops SQL databases for any type of business activites; sales, marketing, patient data, project management, list of members, insurance, courses, stock-holding and more. Customers vary from small businesses to large governmental institutions. My mission as a key account manager was to meet with the customers and discuss their current and future needs, and then turn that information into a requirement specifications for the programmers. I would also estimate the time and cost for the development, sell the ideas and manage the project until finished.

TNC provides terminological services and support to authorities, organizations and enterprises. It is the language authority in Sweden that deals with languages for special purposes. I was employed as a specialist on terminoloy in science and technology. The work included giving advise on terms and their meaning or translations, and how they relate to other terms and concepts. Also, to manage various terminological projects, such as building list of terms (term databases), read standards in detail and give advise on the terminology, give courses, write articles, read papers and magazines to find new terms. I also designed and built a database in Access to store the company's contacts and marketing activities.

The COMSOL Group provides software solutions for multiphysics modeling. When I worked for Comsol, the company was also distributor for Matlab and Maplesoft in Scandinavia. My main responsibility was Matlab and Maplesoft sales in Sweden. My customers were in general industry, power plants, steel and mining businesses, forestry, as well as many of the universities.I spent a couple of months 2000 in Boston, USA, during the start-up of Comsols business in North America.For Maple I was responsible for all technical support, sales and marketing.I wrote several articles and press-releases for all products.

Kontram Conrad Ekengren AB was a distributor of automation controls for the industry, such as sensors, safety barriers, bar code readers, monitors and more.I was in-house technical support for the sales representatives. My mission was to help finding a solution to any monitor/control or safety problem on the field. I was also giving advise on safety standards and was responsible for the ce-marking of a machine which the company built.I was first contact for the manufacturers of our products and translated many of their booklets, press releases and other text to/from english or german.I was responsible for sales in "North of Sweden".
