About Sofie Wennström
I am currently appointed as the project manager for the Nordic Capacity Centre for Diamond Open Access. The aim is to examine what information, resources, and infrastructure we already have or will need in the future to make even more scholarly material available in the open. I will work with colleagues in Nordic research libraries to ensure we have what we need to reach the next level of openness.I'm involved in the LIBER network as co-chair of the Open Access Working Group (https://libereurope.eu/working-group/open-access-working-group/), and I'm a member of the OASPA Board (https://www.oaspa.org/)In addition to being a specialist in academic publishing, I'm also a trained pedagogue with particular interests in theories about learning in higher education. I regularly contribute to teaching students and researchers open scholarly communication at Stockholm University. My interests include publishing, peer-review, Open Access, and best practices for digital scholarly communication.
