I am also in charge of the annual presentation of our project to the future GP's at the university of Leuven (KU Leuven), Brussels (VUB) and Antwerp (UA). Next to that, I am experienced in talking to a diverse audience, presenting Farmaka vzw and its expertise towards EBM, for example on LOK-meetings, MFO-meetings between GP's and pharmacists, meetings between GP's and specialists and several other occasions where Farmaka vzw can play a role by putting EBM more into practice.Academic detailing: "University or non-commercial-based educational outreach which means face-to-face education of prescribers after an intern extensive training. The goal of academic detailing is to change prescribing of targeted drugs to be consistent with medical evidence, support patient safety, and to be cost-effective medication choices and overall, to improve patient care. For the Food&Health-department of Test-Achats/Test-Aankoop, I worked on studies, researches and questionaires for the magazine "Test-Santé/Test-Gezondheid" and for electonic publications on the website of the company. For this function, I was in charge with the analysis of scientific information, the research and processing of different medical sources, creating inquiry schemas for the investigations, contacting external parties, evaluation of the study results, making up technical reports (from which the editors make a consumer friendly article), and actively follow up the projects after publication. Next to that I propagated and defended a consument based vision on public health in general and on specific issues towards concerned policy makers and other stakeholders in the health sector.
