As a Customer Service Agent at DHL I am responsible and the main contact for the customer that I have been assigned to. DHL has around 25 to 30 customers who are outsourcing their logistic process to DHL. These customers produce international medication and/or medical devices. My main responsibillity is to monitor the logistic process, this in close cooperation with the warehouse, Back Office team, and management.My main tasks concern:- Welcoming the customer at location and providing them with a tour of the warehouse.- Maintaining a good relationship with the customer, to ensure a fruitful collaboration.- Providing the customer with order information, particularly concerning shipments and deliveries, both inbound and outbound: leadtimes, systemissues, delays, and rootcause and countermeasures.- Processing complaints via the Smartsolve system.- Managing KPI scores and proposing process improvements.- Using the specific warehouse management system for this customer.Furthermore I have been part of and coordinate the export team, who process all documentation belonging to outbound and inbound shipments. Their daily activities involve:- Preparing export documentation.- Archiving export documentation.- Welcoming and accompanying customs during physical checks of shipments.- Archiving inbound documentation.I have also had the opportunity to be involved in the activities of the Traffic Office, in welcoming drivers who are signing in to load or unload shipments, checking in these drivers in our warehouse management system, assigning docks to the trucks, cooperate with the loaders, and booking in purchase orders and inbound shipments into the system.Furthermore I am also involved in the testing and implementing of a new archiving system within DHL and I have been teaching new collegues.As a side activity, I am part of the DHL Let Me Smile team, and am responsible for organising events such as a summer party of christmas lunch.
