I studied a type of neuron located in the brain, and investigated its importance for sensory signaling, attention and plasticity. Main techniques employed: Patch-clamp electrophysiology in brain slices and primary neuronal cell culture, immunohistochemistry and confocal microscopy. I have additionally worked with different mice behavioral experiments to assess visual attention.

I learned and used the following techniques: ultracentrifugation, 2-dimensional gel electrophoresis, mass spectrometry and western blot.
