Sofie Zamchick is an NYC-based singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and the first-ever indie-pop artist to primarily accompany herself on VibeKAT. With a voice that "flutters between sweet and salty" (Kara Manning), Zamchick writes songs that are dreamy, honest, and heartfelt. A cross between Lorde, Avril Lavigne, and Regina Spektor, “Zamchick has a characterizable innocence to her sound” (Buzz Music). Named 1 of “10 NYC Artists to Watch,” Zamchick performed in NPR’s 2019 Tiny Desk tour, participated in the 2021 Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project, and has played gigs all over NYC at classic NYC venues like Pianos, Rockwood Music Hall, The Living Room, Arlene’s Grocery, The Delancey, The Bitter End, and Baby’s All Right. An actor & voiceover artist since childhood, Zamchick has voiced roles for Nick Jr.'s "The Wonder Pets" (Linny, the Guinea Pig) and "Abby Hatcher" (soundalike for Abby Hatcher), PBS's "Clifford" and Disney's "Enchanted," and numerous radio spots, jingles, and Kidz Bop CDs. She appeared in two Eve Sussman films & Matthew Barney's "Cremaster," performed in three Metropolitan Operas, and acted in the Off Bway "American Girl Revue." Sofie runs a private music studio teaching voice, songwriting, piano & guitar in NYC and has a strong passion for teaching music, inspiring creativity, & helping children find their unique musical voice.
