As an executive, advisor, and board member, I am focused on applying research and innovation to transform the life science and healthcare industries. I am passionate about the representation of women at executive and corporate governance levels and believe it to be one of the untapped sources of growth and transformation in business and science. In 2007, I co-founded ProPhase, a global specialty service firm focused on helping clinical stage companies de-risk their drug development programs. After leading ProPhase through a decade of profitable growth that transformed the company from a start-up to a market leader, I recently completed the sale of ProPhase to a private equity portfolio company. I was the CEO and Managing Board Member at ProPhase and hold current Board appointments at CRA Assessments (private, for profit) and Gilda’s Club of New York City (non-profit). Prior to transitioning into an executive career, I served in a variety of roles, including private practice, academia, and clinical research. I began my career as a clinical psychologist, teaching, conducting research and providing testing and treatment at a variety of treatment settings. I am a founding member of CNS Summit, as well as a member of The International Society for CNS Drug Development (ISCDD), Women in BIO, Women Entrepreneurs in Science and Technology (WEST), National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), and Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA). I have recently become an NACD Board Leadership™ Fellow and was selected as one of top 20 life science executives poised for Board service by Women in BIO Boardroom Ready program. I also serve on Springboard’s Life Science Council, an invitation-only group of professionals who support women entrepreneurs seeking resources to grow companies they lead.
