SSAB is building a state of the art, fossil-free steel mini-mill in Luleå. In my role, I am working with establishing the new supply chain setup, e.g. transport flows via railway, vessel and lorry, storage areas, internal transport flows and organizational setup.

Luleå is one of SSAB's main production sites with ~1,100 employees and an annual production of about 2 million tons of slabs.I reported directly to the site manager and was part of the site management team. At this time, Centralized Maintenance consisted of a total of ~220 employees serving the entire production chain including e.g. maintenance development, hydraulics, shift maintenance, CNC machining, electrical maintenance and refractory maintenance.My responsibilities included e.g.:- Occupational health and safety work with the target of being the world's safest steel company- Group development and coaching of four directly reporting managers- Delivery of maintenance services to support the site's production availability targets- Defintion of the site's overall maintenance process including ways of working and KPIs- Recruitment and competence management- Budgeting and forecasting- Investment planning and execution- Strategy definition and execution- Union negotiations and relationship management- Operative ways of working around e.g. continuous improvemens and 5S

Worked with strategic projects for top management where project roles typically included project management, market and data analysis, financial modeling and providing recommendations. Responsibilities also included preparing communication for the SSAB Board of Directors. Reported to Executive Vice President Strategy & Digitalization.

LuleKraft is equally owned by SSAB and Luleå Energi and mainly produces electricity and hot water for Luleå's district heating system using process gases from SSAB.

Consistent high performer in planning, leading and delivering strategy projects regarding e.g. growth strategy, business development, technology strategy and pricing. Responsibilities included project management, workshop orchestration, business case development and market analysis etc. Main exposure towards telecommunications, media and utilities industries.

Worked with the business adoption and data migration teams on a PIM system implementation project. Also arranged a workshop, analyzed data and wrote a report regarding recruitment of high-performing female students. Received full-time offer after the internship.

Did a 7-week long internship at the Operational Transactions Services (OTS) department in parallel with my full-time studies at the university. OTS provides support and advice across the transaction life cycle, supporting both buyers and sellers. Responsibilities included conducting market research and creating company profiles of potential acquisition targets for clients. Received full-time offer after the internship.

Led tutorials for ~25 students, wrote exam questions and graded exams in the course Economic Analysis: Economic Theory.
