My career has spanned the roles of Business Owner, Managing Director, Practice Lead, Trainer, Teacher, Facilitator, Mentor, Coach, Test Consultant, Account Manager, Project Manager, Product Owner and Business Analyst.For more than a decade I specialised in the Software Testing Domain; working as a consultant and educator.Founder and Business Owner - In 2005, I founded a training and consulting business and through my reputation in the field and my networking skills, with the help of a small team, we increased our customer base from zero to 2000 clients, including many top tier organisations, in just under 10 years.Whilst growing the business I adopted lean and design thinking practices to reduce waste, streamline processes, experiment with products and services via customer feedback to satisfy my customers’ ever-changing needs. The company was acquired by SoftEd in 2014 and I joined the company as a Practice Lead. In the last decade I have continuously expanded my repertoire into a world of continuous learning via the ever-changing landscape of lean, agile, and design thinking that pervades the modern world of work.I am not tied to one school of thought when it comes to the buzz around all things agile – I look at the ideas and try to understand the context in which they may derive value.
