Current Managing the Supply Chain of the Hospital People Manager : Leading the department’s teams (administrativeteam, Store Team) Selecting and deciding the hospital’s needs of medications/IV fluids interms of quantity and quality Create and Update the SOPs of the department. Match the created SOPs to the General University laws andregulation•Directs procurement, storage, distribution, control, and evaluation of drugs.•Establishes a drug distribution system yielding maximum pharmacy control over requisitioning, storing, and dispensing drugs.•Create purchase requisitions for all pharmaceutical products and supplies required by the inpatient or outpatient pharmacy through a variety of sources including third party logistics, wholesalers.• Reviews and approves purchase order placement of purchasing assistants and buyers for accuracy and optimum delivery and pricing.• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.• Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures. •Monitoring the inventory of all medication at the hospital. •Meets with vendors to negotiate improved pricing, product quality, and delivery.• Negotiating and supervising supply contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.• Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids to suppliers.• Conducts meetings, prepares and presents reports, and provides information to identify purchasing requirements, establish business plans and performance objectives, and report performance against plan and business objectives.
