My job was to prepare a different solution for the interior configuration of the spaces and with it create a new image for the company. This job required working autonomously, managing my own time and budgets and working closely with clients and suppliers. This role has required proficient use of Indesign, Illustrator, Autocad and Photoshop to create detailed plans and realistic images. Currently I'm working on the design of their bus stops, using Revit, Indesign, Illustrator, Autocad and Photoshop.

At Lateral North studio, I was responsible for designing new buildings as well as planning the restoration of old buildings with a particular emphasis on sustainability and energy efficiency. I was encouraged by Lateral North to work with a great deal of autonomy, managing my own workload and taking creative decisions whilst liasing with other group members when necessary, in order to meet deadlines. This role has required proficient use of Indesign, Illustrator, Autocad, Photoshop and Sketchup to create detailed plans and realistic images.

As a newly graduated Architect, I was contracted by a busy commercial studio to produce detailed drawings from design to construction within tight deadlines for two projects. As well as specific technical skills, this job required the ability to work as part of a team in a highly pressurised environment. I was required to manage my own workload without supervision, liaise with clients and other team members and adapt quickly to client demands. A very high level of proficiency was needed on all Microsoft Office packages, as well as specialist architectural software such as Autocad, Photoshop, Sketchup and Illustrator, in order to carry out many of the administrative duties in support of the role.

I was responsible for receiving visitors and guiding them through the exhibition. This role required an excellent level of customer service as well as the ability to familiarise myself with all of the work displayed in order to deal with customer enquiries.
