I am a lawyer graduated from Universidad de Montevideo in Uruguay, hold a bachelor's degree in theology and religious studies from Università della Santa Croce in Italy, and a Master's degree in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford in the UK. Currently, I am a member of the Council of the Faculty of Law of Universidad de Montevideo and work there as a lecturer in Human Rights and Law and Religion. I also advise a number of Uruguayan legislators and national and international NGOs on human rights issues. I am specially interested in topics such as the right to freedom of expression, freedom of religion or beliefs, right to life and women´s rights.
