Research on lithium batteries with silicon anodes. My work focused on studying new ways to improve their optimisation and lifetime, a crucial challenge for the next generation of energy storage. These batteries, which combine silicon and lithium, offer higher theoretical capacity compared to conventional lithium-ion batteries, but face significant challenges related to material expansion and stability during charge cycles.My efforts culminated in me obtaining an honours degree in my research work, with a grade of 9.8.
