I am passionate about packaging and industrial development . In my role as an international consultant, I bring extensive expertise in event management, packaging and marketing. Since 2021, I have had the privilege of being the organizer on behalf of the WPO ( World Packaging Organization )for WorldStar , the global and most prestigious packaging awards. Over the past 24 years, I have provided packaging design services to more than 200 industrial companies. My collaboration with UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) spans 17 years as an international expert on packaging and marketing in various countries, including Cambodia,Mongolia, Morocco, Pakistan, Jordan, Oman, Egypt, Bahrain, Lebanon, and Tunisia. In 2018, my global expertise led to my appointment as Vice President of WPO, where I manage Exhibitions, Conferences and the marketing portfolio of WPO , and recently in February 2024 I have been appointed as WPO Vice President for Marketing.In Lebanon, my home country, I am recognized as a leading expert in packaging. As an active contributor to the local industry, I founded LibanPack, the Lebanese Packaging Centre, and elevated packaging development through initiatives like Arab StarPack, a regional competition for professionals and students in the Arab world. I have also played a pivotal role in organizing industrial conferences and events.In July 2024, I joined UNIDO as an industrial development expert for the 2Circular project. The 2Circular prokect is about Private sector Transition to a Greener and Circular Economy in Lebanon. The project is funded by EU and is running until end of 2025I hold a Master's degree from the Lebanese American University and have completed an executive course on Strategic Marketing Management at the Harvard Business School in 2017. My journey reflects a deep commitment to advancing the field of sustainable packaging and circular economy.

International ExpertUnido May 2016 - Sep 2024Arab Countries, Pakistan, Mongolia•Mongolia: Participated in an assessment mission to assess the packaging sector in Mongolia and provide recommendations for improvements. The expert has also provided trainings on marketing and packaging to SMES in the dairy and meat sector in Mongolia.•Pakistan: Participated in a fact-finding mission to Islamabad, Gilgit and Lahore to collect primary data on the existing infrastructure for packaging services and develop the plan of interventions. The expert also provided training modules on packaging and labelling addressed to the producers of the 3 values Chains in Gilgit Baltistan•Egypt: Conducted an assessment study on the packaging sector in Egypt. The expert also prepared a project document for a potential project on packaging in Egypt. •Morocco: Conducted an assessment mission to Casablanca and Rabat to assess the needs for a packaging center and to establish a national packaging competition in Morocco addressed to students and professionals.•Jordan: Conducted an assessment study and a business plan for the establishment of a national packaging center in Jordan.•Tunisia: supported the packaging center in Tunisia to launch a national and regional packaging competition.•Arab Region: Responsible for the conceptualization, organization and management of Arab StarPack Competition in 15 Arab Countries.•Support UNIDO in drafting Project Documents in several countries related to packaging , marketing and food safety.•Provided trainings on marketing, branding, packaging and labeling in a number of Arab and Asian Countries.
