I have done internship in SAP S/4 HANA Finance. At the core of the operations, an existing standard software (e.g. SAP ERP) is already in place. In many cases, SAP S/4HANA is the digital core for becoming an Intelligent Enterprise. It is the starting point enabling me to make my career step-by-step. It is able to process huge amounts of data and generate real time data insights. Moreover, it’s not only about processing data but about using and analyzing this data to increase transparency, be up to date and get reasoned arguments for my decisions.

The mission of the internal audit department is to provide independent and objective assurance, designed to add value and improve the operations of the organization. So, i always try to help the organization accomplish their objectives by bringing a systematic disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

During CA inter I have joined a well reputed CA registered firm, TMC Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.I came to know about this firm from some of my seniors who had gone through the TMC summer internship programme. As TMC is the largest professional services network.I felt that an internship at TMC was a great platform for me to gain deeper insights into the accounting,audit and tax industry.TMC is also known for its focus on diversity as well as career development programmes.I was interning at audit department,during which i was assigned to a couple of major engagements and had the opportunity to put my accounting knowledge into practice and perform actual audit procedures for the clients.My job scope included the handling of real accounts and tasks which are normally assigned to full-time audit associates.I feel that it was an enriching experience to be part of TMC Chartered Accountants to learn a lot of technical knowledge and gain valuable hands-on audit experience through engagements.

In Jan 2017 join Gohar textile for External audit and the tasks given to me were:✎ Inquiring of management and others to gain an understanding of the organization itself, its operations, financial reporting, and known fraud or error.✎ Evaluating and understanding the internal control system.✎ Performing analytical procedures on expected or unexpected variances in account balances or classes of transactions.✎ Testing documentation supporting account balances or classes of transactions.✎ Observing the physical inventory count.✎ Confirming accounts receivable and other accounts with a third party.

In April 2016 I was appointed as an Auditor for Royalton hotel.“Being a professional auditor i handled specialized accounts which demanded skill sets.Hence, this was challenging at times when i was faced with a new account which i had not seen before.However, the seniors and mentors were always ready and willing to give their advice and guidance to help me overcome these challenges.”
