I have more than 35 years experience in managing asthma, COPD, Tuberculosis, lung infections, pleural effusions, lung cancer, lung fibrosis, respiratory failure and most of the common and advanced diseases related to chest medicine.I am experienced in various pulmonary procedures including fiberoptic bronchoscopy, lung biopsy, pleural biopsy, chest tube insertion, lung function tests and related. I have experience of setting up Pulmonary services, both medical service and education, in Baqai University, SIUT and currently in Indus Hospital and Health Network Pakistan. I have been a teacher for all my practical career, including undergraduate and postgraduate students in medicine and pulmonology, and allied health professionals. I have research to my credit, published in peer re reviewed medical journals. I am passionate about public health education which I consider as important as treating with medicine. For this, I have held group sessions, as well as educating people through social, electronic and print media. I am a lifetime member of Pakistan Islamic Medical Association and Pakistan Chest Society.
