As a millennial, I grew up in an era of rapid technological advancement. I remember how in matter of months we shifted from counting stars in the sky to playing the Snake game on a phone. The joy of using a wireless phone and the tones of a dial-up modem still resonates with my memory. While it has been fascinating to embrace new technologies—from smartphones to AI applications—in daily life, it has also inspired me to consider the challenges these innovations present. I am deeply interested in addressing issues related to our tech-driven world, such as modern communication systems, Block chain technology, privacy-preservation of data, and cyber security.Moreover, since childhood, I have always been motivated to alleviate the miseries of patients suffering from various diseases. I have a strong research interest in developing systems for early and accessible diagnosis of diseases and possible AI assistive interventions. Additionally, as an academician, I am deeply interested in the development of advanced physical and online education curricula, and creating groundbreaking STEM curricula for the future generations who will grow up in a world dominated by AI. In addition to these areas, I have years of research experience in the field of RF electromagnetics for various healthcare and wireless communication applications.With over 15 years of experience in teaching and research at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, I have held various key administrative roles over the past years. I have supervised 8 PhD dissertations along with many MS and BS theses.Beyond teaching, I am deeply involved in research, having published more than 30 articles in well-reputed journals and conference proceedings, demonstrating my steadfast commitment to advancing knowledge in my field.As the Chair of Educational Activities for the IEEE Islamabad Section, I lead all educational initiatives in the region. With a proven track record and extensive experience, I am well-positioned to make significant contributions to any academic role. I am also recognized for my expertise as a research funding review panelist for the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Additionally, as an advocate of STEM education, I co-founded and served as the CEO of FUNDOCTRINA, a premier provider of STEM education in Pakistan's schools, and am certified as a STEM Master Trainer by STEM.org.My passion for advancement in teaching, dedication to research, and leadership abilities are assets I am excited to leverage to drive innovation and advance knowledge.
