My responsibilities were to investigate reversible, noncytotoxic dyes in order to incorporate live cell in vivo imaging into the test bed and I conducted cyclic voltammetry analysis to create a mathematical model in MATLAB to design a cell culture sensor to collect measurements while sustaining cell life.

Linaria Chemicals is a pharmaceutical company that is one of South East Asia's largest manufacturers of anti-tuberculosis products. My responsibilities consisted of carrying out sampling of any final materials daily and packaging the final materials as retained samples. I also tested these final materials for melting point, bulk density, and moisture content. Additionally, I tested the plant batch samples for moisture content and pH. I also voluntarily carried out Chemical Oxygen Demand titrations and calculations and took up labeling the inventory. The most crucial responsibility was to be accountable for each use of any instrument so I had to log my usage each time. The staff at Linaria Chemicals were Thai so I also spoke in Thai and also developed my language skills.
