As a Student Machine Learning Intern at IIT Bombay, I embarked on a journey that began with mastering Python and delving into image processing techniques. Throughout my internship, I gained proficiency in numerous libraries including NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Matplotlib, and OpenCV. I then progressed to learning machine learning and deep learning algorithms, broadening my skill set in this domain.The culmination of my internship was a group project focused on Image Super Resolution, a cutting-edge application of deep learning. Using the Efficient Sub-Pixel Convolution Network (ESPCN) architecture, we implemented Image Super Resolution to enhance the quality of low-resolution images. Leveraging advanced image processing techniques and ESPCN, we successfully generated high-resolution images with superior visual quality.This project not only showcased our expertise in machine learning and deep learning but also demonstrated our ability to apply these techniques to real-world challenges. Through collaborative efforts and innovative solutions, we made significant strides in the field of image processing, leaving a lasting impact on our industrial project. Additionally, I was honored with the First Prize during my internship at IIT-Bombay for exceptional presentation skills. Furthermore, I authored and published a research paper on Image Super Resolution in the International Journal of Creative Research Thoughts (IJCRT) in November 2021.
