• Assisted in building energy models for three residential buildings using EnergyPlus for a research project related to Vacuum insulated panels (VIP)• Developed COMSOL models to evaluate thermal conductivity for various VIPs configuration sandwiched in foam exterior

• Assisted supervisor in residential and commercial (mainly school district) energy audits, new building insulation inspections, energy saving calculation and related documentation.• Checked energy code compliance for HVAC sizing’s provided by the contractors. The sizings were verified using a software package called Right-suite for residential.• Formulated a simple check spreadsheet function for acceptance or rejection of Furnace and AC rebates using data analysis methods. The spreadsheet function saved 80% of previously used manual labor to process new rebates.• Analyzed data and cleaned existing data to put together a dataset to map Energy Use Intensity (EUI) for 19000 residential buildings in Cedar falls. • Worked to put together new rebates (and associated cost benefit analysis) to save electricity demand and consumption for residential and commercial customers.
