Soham is an Actuarial Analyst (P&C) at Lewis and Ellis – Actuaries and Consultants, where he specializes in pet, auto and homeowners insurance rate making and filings.He has a keen interest in Climate Risk & Sustainability and has completed multiple courses to strengthen the fundamentals in this area.He majored in Business Management from R. A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics (Autonomous) in 2024, achieving a perfect 10/10 CGPA. During his college tenure, he received numerous academic accolades, including the Best Student of the Year 2023-24 Award and the Principal's Special Award.Along with his undergraduate programme, Soham has cleared 7 actuarial exams (CP1, CS1, CS2, CM1, CM2, CB1, CB2) which were conducted by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA).He had participated in multiple research and case study competitions and has even co-authored a book, titled 'Shares, Mutual Fund, Risk and Return' with one of his college professors.Soham is actively engaged in volunteer work, contributing his time to the IFoA 400 Club and has served as a Joint Secretary for the Rational Thinking Cell of RAPCCE in 2023-24.
