I am a third year at the University of Cincinnati enrolled in the Computer Science program in the College of Engineering and Applied Science pursuing an undergraduate degree. I am interested in Software Development and am seeking an internship/coop position for the same. I am currently working as an undergraduate teaching assistant for the Engineering Design and Thinking course at the College of Engineering and Applied Science. I assist the professor in teaching the course material. I also tutor the students to help with tough topics and career planning. I am also responsible for grading weekly assignments and exams for the class. I am also working as an outreach student worker in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, reaching out to prospective and confirmed students to help them with their admission process and the next steps to becoming a Cincinnati Bearcat.Previously, I was the Committee Director of MUNBANK International where I organized the European Union Committee for their Winter MBMUN Conference. I was the School Head Boy in my high school during my senior year where I helped organize various events and gave welcome addresses and speeches. I also organized our school's first virtual MUN with 13 schools and 100+ delegates from the Middle East region. I have coding skills in Python, SQL,C,C# and C++, and data analysis skills through LabVIEW and MATLAB. I am also proficient in Microsoft Office(including VBA and Excel Macros) and can speak three languages – Hindi, Gujarati, and English. Building on my skills, I have designed a bookstore management system with a python-built interface and SQL-based database to store information. Being an international student from Abu Dhabi, I have experienced various cultures and have always been in a diverse environment. This has given me the ability to adapt to any situation and have a broader perspective to learn new things. I am always curious and love to learn new topics every day. I love problem-solving and am an organized person with a deep love for to-do lists. I believe in having a plan every day to complete tasks related to my work or academic progress. I believe that the skills I have attained from my diverse high school experience and the University of Cincinnati define me and I look forward to applying these skills in my next position at a company that aligns with my vision for the future.
