I have been with MAS Holdings (Pvt) Limited since 2009 & currently serve as a Business Director, giving leadership to our strategy for the Indian market. Prior to this role, I served as the General Manager of Strategic planning, where I lead the office of the Chairman of MAS and provided leadership to the Strategic Planning Process of the Group. I also served as the Head of finance, legal and administration at an Innovation Centre jointly established between MAS & Nike between 2015-2017. I was instrumental in setting up operations for MAS in Indonesia from 2012 to 2015, where I moved to with my family, and gave leadership to Finance. My Managerial portfolio comprises of business development & marketing, strategic & financial planning, formulation of corporate policies, implementation of LEAN principles, and Risk Management. I have driven the formation and running of three Joint Ventures & managed relationships with diverse stakeholders worldwide. This included extensive business travel to all regions around the world, with particular focus on North America and Asia. Prior to MAS, I served at SJMS Associates (in partnership with Deloitte) from 2007 to 2009 in the field of Accounting, Auditing, Compliance and Advisory. I am a senior lecturer at the Institute of Imperial College of Business Studies (ICBS) in Sri Lanka. My teaching portfolio comprises the fields of Corporate Finance, Accounting, Economics & Business Management. I have lectured the curriculums of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA, UK) the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK) and currently lecture for MBA programs offered by the University of the West of Scotland (UWS)I am an Associate Member of the Professional Accounting bodies of CIMA, ACCA & CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountants) & hold a Master’s in Economics from the University of Colombo. I serve as a member of the ‘Economy of Francesco’, working with the Vatican on economic, social & ecological reforms at the invitation of His Holiness Pope Francis. I serve as a member of the steering Board of ‘Laudato Si Challenge’ (US), allocating global resources to ecological causes, and recently joined the Centre for a Smart Future as a ‘Visiting Fellow’. I am a traveler & an environmental conservationist, working on multiple projects to protect and enhance natural eco systems. I represented Sri Lanka at Tennis during the years 2002 to 2008 and served the Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) as Vice President from 2015 to 2017. I also serve on the National Tennis selection committee
