About Sohan K.

I've been building and developing software solutions for more than 7 years. I'm passionate about distributed systems and interested in backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, and containers. As a Senior Software Engineer in Red Hat's Openshift Node team, my responsibilities involve working on CRI-O, a container runtime engine, and contributing to Sig-Node-specific projects. While working as an intern at Red Hat, I acquired knowledge of open-source development and gained insight into using upstream communities' strengths to create vendor-agnostic software. I also made contributions to upstream kubernetes projects such as Kubebuilder, controller-tools, and Kubefed. I have long been a member of the Fedora community and have addressed questions from community users. In my spare time, I try to learn about the open-source community's most recent ideas and solutions and contribute to them.
