Sohrab is an entrepreneur and filmmaker with over 15 years creating digital products and telling stories and creating experiences for users, startups and brands.As a co-founder and head of product at Vyng Sohrab is working to improve the phone call experience and help people all around the world, and specifically, in emerging markets start better conversationsBefore that he was SVP of Design and early employee at inMarket, the Digiday winner for best Location-Based Marketing Platform– where he led Marketing, Special ops, Product and Design for Checkpoints, Techcrunch Disrupt nominee consumer shopping app with 20 million users. Sohrab was Design Director at Order Dynamics, an ecommerce platform that was sold for 8 figures. And co-founder of Sons of Stitches, a men’s fashion personalization platform. Previously, Sohrab worked as an Art director and designer building websites, apps, and interactive experiences for entertainment companies like the NFL, and Fox and CBS, and brands including Acura, CBS, Nissan, and Microsoft. He’s been a featured speaker on Design and UX including at SXSW where he was a panelist on the topic of Creating Meaningful Experiences in the Contextual Age.Sohrab is also an award winning documentary filmmaker working with themes relating to identity, faith, and the synthesis of eastern and western values and culture. Sohrab is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Caroline and two young daughters.
