Project Manager
CurrentInternal Team Management• Leads a team of up to 10 members (engineers, drafters, interns & admin) with varied experience levels• Plans, directs, and oversees all project team activities, including technical review and defining scope, budget, and schedule• Manages internal departments (e.g. construction staking, surveying, electrical, water resources & structural) on projects where we partner with other departments• Oversees $5m in active contracts, and 30+ active projects• Is credited for being the initial point of contact for over $300k of new contracts, and an additional $200k of leads & opportunities in the past calendar year• Participate on RFP interviewsTechnical Expertise• Is responsible for, and takes the lead on all aspects of a project's design, including but not limited to:- Due Diligence- Master Planning- Engineered Site Plan- Grading & Drainage Plan- Utility Plan- Hydraulic Calculations (StormCAD/TLW)- Stormwater Control Plan- Hydromodification Management Plan- SWPPP- ADA Assessment• Has experience in the full construction administration process (respond to contractor submittals, RFIs, and prepare necessary addendums as needed).External Team Management• Takes the lead in regular communications with the client, City, and other consultants, including scoping, progress, permitting and design coordination• Is proactive when informing clients of potential additional services• Manages subconsultants (e.g. fire consultant, joint trench, landscape, traffic, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.) effectivelyVersatile Portfolio• Has a wide range of experiences (corporate campus, data center, fiber, industrial, mixed use, residential, retail, senior housing, self storage, ADA/EV improvements, podium projects, etc.)• Permitting through all sorts of unique jurisdictions- SBWR, SCVWD, Caltrans, UPRR
