I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Joslin Diabetes Research Center, Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts, United States. My professional endeavors are dedicated to advancing precision medicine in diabetes, particularly through innovative approaches to improving treatment responses among individual patients to prevent long-term cardiorenal complications.I received my Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy from the University Sains Malaysia and pursued a doctorate at University Medical Center Groningen. Before transitioning into my research career, I gained several years of working experience as a pharmacist in tertiary hospitals and primary care settings. Additionally, I have also delved into academia, serving as a clinical pharmacy lecturer to share my expertise and passion for pharmaceutical care with future professionals. Throughout my career, I have been honored with the Young Asian Researcher Award from the Japan National Institute of Biomedical Innovation, Health, and Nutrition in 2017. Furthermore, I was granted the European Union’s Horizon 2020 and Marie-Sklodowska-Curie Actions COFUND for my doctoral studies, during which I underwent training at the George Institute of Global Health in Sydney, Australia. Currently, I contribute as a member of the Precision Prognostic in Type 2 Diabetes working group, a joint initiative by the American Diabetes Association and the European Association for the Study of Diabetes aimed at advancing precision diabetes medicine in practice.I'm enthusiastic about collaborative knowledge transfer and expanding my network through this platform. Whether it's discussing innovative research ideas, sharing best practices, or exploring new avenues for collaboration, I'm here with an open mind and a readiness to engage.
