Metro Geriatrics is a private practice in Clive, Iowa that serves the Des Moines Metro area providing healthcare services to the geriatric population within long-term care and assisted living facilities, hospice, and home health. Metro Geriatrics' unique process allows providers to see patients regularly on a week-by-week basis, unlike a usual PCP which needs coordination of scheduling, communication between family/healthcare facilities, and travel. Also, staff from nursing facilities can call our WDSM office during staffed hours to be connected to a nurse who oversees their facility with any medication questions, provider scheduling, or general communications. With an on-call provider as well during the unstaffed hours.
