I have been providing creative and therapeutic nail services to clients since I began working as a nail technician in a salon in 2012.

Denver, Colorado, United States

Led operations at the translation and interpreting social enterprise of a non-profit social work agency. Contracted with and trained a diverse group of local freelance translators and interpreters from multiple cultural and language backgrounds who possessed varying levels of English language ability. Developed program recommendations with sensitivity to the freelancers’ culturally specific experiences. Built up the client and contractor base.

Completed internship as a strategic assistant to the Outreach and Engagement Director. Scheduled staff and board meetings, took meeting minutes, greeted and assisted visiting guests, and served as a representative for the Center at community events. Supported the Outreach and Engagement director with meeting scheduling and other administrative tasks. Assisted with special events programming. Created promotional material for special events and programs. Crafted a weekly events email which connected CU Campus with the Boulder/Denver area and the larger global sustainability community. Led planning for the first annual campus Earth Fest. Acted as Art Curator for the 2015 Front Range Bioneers Conference.

Boulder, Colorado, United States

Served as liaison between the radio station and community organizations. Hosted Radio 1190's premier weekly show, Local Shakedown, which showcases live on-air sets and interviews with local musicians from Denver and Boulder. Wrote press releases and radio copy, directed campus wide promotional campaigns, managed social media posts, and led a group of student volunteers called “The Creative Team”. Established a partnership between Radio 1190 and the CU Art museum in the form of a recurring, collaborative First Friday’s event, where exhibiting artists and volunteer DJs co-curated playlists to be played live on-air and in the galleries.
