I am a first-generation Hispanic Master of Science graduate student at San Diego State University, currently engaged in research studies in the field of neurological disorders at the University of California, San Diego as a California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) Intern. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2023. My primary research interests encompass neurology therapeutics, neuromedicine, biomedical research, healthcare disparities, and clinical research. My aspiration is to serve as a mentor and advocate for students hailing from underserved communities who exhibit an interest in pursuing higher education, with a particular focus on fostering increased representation within the STEM field.
