I am a corporate finance executive and investment professional with more than 20 years' experience working for leading financial institutions in Africa. I have a very broad range of experience across African capital markets and corporate finance. I am a proven deal originator with a verifiable track record of success, both as a banker and an investor.Between May 2012 and March 2022, I worked for Stanbic IBTC Capital, where I ran a team as Head of Corporate Finance, working with the bank's portfolio of global blue chip corporates as well as dynamic high growth African businesses. I have originated and closed more than 30 transactions across multiple sectors since 2012, and deepened the deal sourcing and execution capabilities of my team during this period. I am particularly proud of the role I have played as a member of the Investment Committee of Stanbic's Infrastructure Fund.From 2007 to 2012, I was a Vice President in Private Equity and Advisory at Travant Capital Partners, which was a start-up PE fund and financial adviser. This was an exciting time for me as I participated in an energetic fundraising programme, raising $105M in commitments and gaining exposure to some of the most demanding emerging market investors.
