My passion is creating positive health care experiences and outcomes for patients, physicians and businesses by integrating technology and medicine. As a physician, patient and computer engineer, I am uniquely suited to helping organizations navigate this interface.Currently, I advise companies on product management, inter/intraoperability, data (modeling, liquidity and architecture), gov't affairs, and EMRs.As a Carnegie Mellon computer engineer (previously designing computer chips), I have knowledge of both software and hardware life cycles (including agile/scrum). As a patient, I have directly experienced the expense, waste and absurdity of our current medical system. As a Tufts physician, I know the challenges of delivering patient care in the era of extensive paperwork, defensive medicine and the impossibility of keeping up with evidence based medicine. Having this polymorphism means I have an unusual holistic view of our complicated healthcare ecosystem and want to find others that share my vision of revolutionizing this system. We have a long road ahead of us, but I am excited about the progress we've made and the tidal wave of changes that are just beginning.
