I began my career on TV, as a producer and editor at “Pequenas Empresas, Grandes Negócios”, aired by Globo TV. At the Gtec producing company, I was also coordinated the media trainings. After that, I focused my activities in the written media, at magazines and the in the web. At the American Chamber of Commerce I wrote stories for their “Update” magazine and accompanied discussions and events regarding public policies and how they affect the business environment for companies in different sectors. Among them, the discussions about Brazil’s proposal at the failed Free Trade Agreement for the Americas (FTAA) negotiations. I then moved out of Brazil and took a position first as assistant-editor anh then executive-editor at ”AmericaEconomia”magazine in Santiago, Chile, where I lived for five and a half years covering latin-american business and economy. There, I was also the editor responsible for the magazine’s weekly cable TV show. I came back to Brazil, to São Paulo, in 2009, where I remained as the magazine executive-editor responsible for the Brazilian Portuguese edition. I live in Rio since 2010, where I work as editor of the “Conjuntura Econômica” magazine, published by the Instituto Brasileiro de Economia da Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV/IBRE) since 1947.
