Abhijeet More, Sales Head India – Home & Commercial Business, SMA is a name to reckon with in India’s alternative energy space. He heads the brand’s Sales operations in India. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Abhijeet first entered the Solar field in 2015-16 after getting certified from the Government of India as a Solar Installer. An early bird in the space of Solar energy, Abhijeet has broken many records along the way as he spearheaded innumerous projects that have shaped the burgeoning Solar energy space in the country.Abhijeet joined SMA in 2022 after a very fruitful stint at ABB, and since then has been instrumental in successfully executing a brand strategy that positions SMA as an industry leader in the alternative energy industry. At SMA, he has initiated and implemented many strategic alliances with key partners and customers, identified market opportunities both within and outside of the traditional client base, and developed strategies to penetrate those markets. Abhijeet’s aim is always to take SMA a step further towards establishing the brand as the Top manufacturer of Solar inverters in India.In his long and illustrious career, Abhijeet has won many accolades besides being key speaker at many Summits and Conferences in India and also abroad. He has been awarded India's Top 40 under 40 most promising young business leaders in Solar Energy in 2019 by Solar Quarter Group. He has been recognized as the Senior Green Ambassador by SESI. Abhijeet has been selected as United Nation’s Digital Influencer for SDGs in 2022. Among his other achievements, Abhijeet has also amongst the very first Indian Professionals to be a LinkedIn Top Voice in Renewable Energy in September 2023.He was one of the crazy fans of Startups in college days, and even he tried entrepreneurship but eventually decided to pursue a career.
