My experience spans more than 30 years in the pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetics sectors in sub-saharan Africa where I have delivered complex commercial projects including commercial strategy, product development, market authorization, market insights, and regulatory affairs management. I work with extensive global and local partnerships in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and regulatory spaces. In addition to managing complex stakeholders, I am able to drive collaborative deal-making to achieve significant market impact including over 300 new products certified and launched into new markets. Over the last decade, I have provided leadership at executive levels in strategy, product development, marketing, and sales in pharmaceuticals for global brands, as well as strategic consulting for investors, companies, and key players in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as President of the International Federation of Pharmacists (FIP), Industrial Pharmacy Section (IPS), an organization that represents the interest of 4 million pharmacists globally, the IPS caters to the affairs of pharmacists who work in industry and performs roles in Production, Quality Assurance and Regulation of pharmaceuticals and medical devices.Entrepreneurship is one of my passions, particularly supporting entrepreneurs in emerging markets.
