I'm a creative at heart, passionate about photography, art, design, and writing. My background is a bit of a mixed bag—computer science, audio engineering, linguistics, and philosophy all play a role in how I see the world and shape my artistic vision.I lived in Hangzhou, China, for several years, where my partner Lekui and I co-founded our photography company. We were lucky enough to participate in and organize exhibitions in China and internationally, and we helped dozens of brands elevate their visual presence through photography.Now, we're back in Montreal, and I'm focusing on my personal art projects under the moniker of Solav, through which I share frequent glimpses of abstract and nature-inspired beauty on social media. In 2020, I started Hintology, a magazine dedicated to abstract photography and building a community of like-minded folks who love visual exploration and storytelling.My commitment to sustainability and my partner's passion for garments led us to create Écorce, a boutique dedicated to eco-conscious fashion that embraces the wabi-sabi aesthetic. It's a way for us to combine our love of creativity and East Asian philosophies with our desire to make a positive impact.I invite you to join me on this artistic journey where technology, creativity, and mindful living intersect.
