My name is Maria Soledad Bautista Mariscal and I go by “Sol”. I grew up in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. I am a proud bilingual psychologist that honors diversity and multiculturalism. I studied Psychology with a strong focus in discernment and community work. Twelve years ago I was invited to move to the US as an educator, these years helped me acquire a completely different set of skills. I’ve always sought after life experiences that provide me with the ability to love and serve as many people as I can. Last May I decided it was time to pour all my learnings into a new way of serving and creating community, that's how Magnolia Global Wellness was born. I have faced many challenges on how to love my identity and its ever changing nature and this new chapter is no different. I constantly have to remind myself that I can not ask others to give me what I can not give myself. Self love, self compassion, and self care, are needed now more than ever, and the ‘aliveness’ of a community that understands the importance of this, is imperative.
