    Consultant for the project “Workshops for Digital Competencies and Cyber Activism for children, adolescents and adult representatives of NGOs” from the programme “More Rights” (Más Derechos) co-funded by the European Union.Relevant tasks and responsibilities included designing the project tailored to the CDNUruguay needs and context, articulating the implementation of this with its member NGOs, facilitating workshops, launching a digital advocacy campaign, and elaborating a report with the main outcomes and recommendations for a prospect organisational agenda on these issues. The project regarded a series of online activities covering themes such digital technologies and skills, its connection with children and human rights, and combining these to amplify community and advocacy work. In order to effectively equip the CDNUruguay with these skills, a digital campaign was launched. To do this, the active participation of key stakeholders was incorporated through its full process, especially the one of children and adolescents.

    GKO is the most relevant international research network focused on issues of children online safety and rights, led by the London School of Economics (LSE). In 2017, Uruguay implemented for the first time the GKO standardised survey among children, youth and family members. Its implementation regarded a network national government institutions (AGESIC and Plan Ceibal), universities (Universidad Católica del Uruguay), and UNICEF’s local office.Articulating the local thematic network for adjusting the methodology, localising questionnaires and managing the fieldwork strategy. Conducting 10 cognitive interviews with children, adolescents and family members from various socio-economic contexts to adapt the standardised forms and writing a report with fieldwork and analysis recommendations. Leading the fieldwork process, elaborating manuals, training interviewers and implementing strategies to ensure the data quality.
