After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, which I did both in La Reunion Island and in Paris, I decided I wanted to work in travel: I am used to travelling a lot, and I am addicted to the feeling of discovering new places and new cultures. I got in the ESCAET school in October 2015, after spending a month in London as an au pair. My education within this school and the numerous meetings we had with well-known companies in the travel industry, helped me get a better global understanding of the tourism industry and it gave me specific knowledge such as study of consumer behaviour, acquisition and production, marketing and digital marketing, leisure and corporate travel and so on. The course also improves our organizational and professional skills. It also familiarises us with the many tools that are used by different companies, whether they are tourism tools or not. The many professional projects I participated in during the last year have helped me gain a world of experience as well. Between June and September 2016, I worked as an Assistant to the UK Contracts & Sales Manager at Interopa Holidays, a Tour Operator based in London. Between May and November 2017, I worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Smoozy, a DMC based in London.
