I Solethu Sinxi hold a Diploma in Electrical Engineering majoring in Electronics with an experience of 1 year gained at MTN-SA as a Graduate Engineer, the experience that I have gained as a Graduate Engineer is Optic Fiber Splicing, Radio Frequency, Site power cutover, Base Transceiver Station, Site Monitoring and availability using NetEco, Working at Heights, Site surveys for (NSB) New Site Built, Halted site PAC, Passive project PAC, L2600 PAC and Generator PAC, Ensure subcontractors perform according to the laid down specifications, Ensure that quality is maintained during installation, Sites fiber link restoration, Ensure that the site is accepted according to MTN’s acceptance procedures, Ensure that the implementation projects are done according to required MTN requirements or scope of work and Ensure that QC standards are met according to laid down specifications.As a Trainee at National Research Foundation of South Africa (NRF) I gained experience in Soldering and Desoldering of PCB, Testing of Optic fibre boards and RF cables, Testing a bandpass filter, Analysis and fault finding of computer/telescope interface boards (PCB), Splicing of fibre optic cable, Vector Network Analyzer Calibration and testing Radome material, Assist with the installation of an 18 cm receiver in a 26m antenna, Assist with 16m and 26m Antenna Maintenance, Dichroic Installation and Removal and Hardware Interface (RS485 and Digital potentiometer).As a Trainee at NECSA (South African Nuclear Cooperation), As a trainee at NECSA I gained a lot of knowledge and skills which are very much fundamental in the field of electrical and electronic engineering.
