I’m a children’s author of “A Butterfly Catcher” and writer. I am also a very proud military veteran who served as a combat medic with the United States Army’s 1st Calvary Division. After military service I became a first assist in ophthalmologic surgery. In this roll I was privileged to be among a surgical team on missions to Malawi Africa and Salinas Ecuador.I met Gabriella simply by reaching out to her. I wanted to understand who she was and what it meant to be a “Kindness Expert.” To my surprise she said yes, and my few minutes turned into an hour and a half conversation. Right then and there I decided to become a Kindness Instigator. That is just how powerful her personal story and life’s mission is.
