Lead a team of 6 engineers that developed and implemented zero downtime migration from a on-premises bare metal deployment of a LAMP application into a full CI/CD pipeline driven deployment on Kubernetes in AWS.This migration included collaborating and coordinating with nearly every development team at the Boise site, as well as numerous teams and key leadership personnel from other Intuit sites to plan, test and coordinate the rollout of this effort.We were able to successfully migrate customer workload from the legacy datacenters to Kubernetes on AWS with zero customer facing impact and no downtime for customer workload which was critical for the nature of this Time Tracking application.This work was being done in concert with many other integration efforts into the broader Intuit / Quickbooks ecosystem and involved planning and executing changes to support those integration efforts while continuing the migration work. I was incredibly blessed to work with a wonderful team of people who made this ambitious plan to migrate a production workload live during business hours with no customer impact a reality.
