I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering at the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science, University of Texas at Dallas, with an anticipated completion date in Spring 2025. My academic journey is bolstered by a solid foundation in software development and a keen interest in leveraging technology to solve real-world problems. My passion for software engineering is complemented by a diverse background in healthcare, where I gained invaluable experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), enhancing my teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.At Plano East Senior High School, I excelled academically, achieving a 4.00 GPA and graduating Summa Cum Laude. My dedication to my studies and community service has been a constant throughout my educational career. My involvement in the Health Science Academy and the completion of an EMT certification program, with dual credit from Collin College, reflect my commitment to personal and professional development. These experiences have not only prepared me for the challenges of higher education but have also instilled in me the importance of adaptability and continuous learning.In December 2022, I co-founded the Gather-Connect App, a specialized platform designed to improve event discovery and management for students at the University of Texas at Dallas. This project allowed me to apply my skills in Java, C++, Flutter, Firebase, and Node.js, showcasing my ability to develop and optimize application performance through advanced strategies such as pagination, caching, and serverless backend architecture. The success of this app, highlighted by a significant increase in user engagement and social media viewership, exemplifies my capacity to lead strategic marketing campaigns and innovate without financial investment.My volunteer experiences, including contributions to St. Ignatius Cathedral's Bible Study program and local food pantries, underscore my dedication to community service and the impact of giving back. These activities have enriched my understanding of leadership, empathy, and the power of collective effort.In summary, my educational background, combined with my experiences in software engineering and healthcare, equip me with a unique blend of skills and perspectives.
