I sold various produce at two local farmers markets. Along with sales skills I became capable of driving a delivery van. This required me to speak with and use persuasive skills to encourage the purchase of produce, as well as cash handling.

For the most part I made and shaped pastries in the early evening and night for the next day. Everything from scones and biscuits to hand pies and croissants. Baking for the most part is just doing the same thing repeatedly, perfectly. Every croissant needs to look the same, and that can be difficult if you are not attentive and capable.

My job as facilities lead required me to do things like remodel laboratory spaces and maintain the functionality of the building. As lead I also headed most of the operations that revolved around the expanding of production operations. The job often required long hours and was deadline oriented.

As a Student Advisor to the City Forestry Commission of Forest Grove I helped bring insight into how youth would benefit from proposed recommendations to the city council on measures regarding everything from street tree management to youth involvement. I also was apart of a delegation sent by the city to the National League of Cities in DC in 2017.

My friend and I decide one day that we wanted to send something to space. So we spent a year learning how to build a high altitude ballon to launch during the 2017 Solar Eclipse in the USA. It was exciting end solidified my interest science.
