CurrentThe BFSD team is responsible for the development and maintenance of the safety/MMDC driver, a critical component in ASML's cutting-edge EUV lithography systems. Due to corporate confidentiality, further project details cannot be disclosed. Working within the SAFe model as part of the Omega train, the team actively contributes to and collaborates with multiple "wagons" across the organization. Managing diverse stakeholders has been a pivotal aspect of this role, given the high complexity of the project and the scale of the company.This position has provided me with invaluable experience, enhancing my skills in coaching, management, and embedded software development. My primary responsibilities include: - Coaching the team to embrace the Scrum mindset, resolving impediments, and driving the delivery of value. - Focusing on team productivity and efficiency, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with organizational goals. - Continuously improving workflows for both the Agile Release Train (ART) and the team, streamlining processes for greater effectiveness.Key Achievements and Challenges: - Successfully managed the team’s expansion from 7 to 13 members while addressing the challenges of team attrition. - Designed and implemented robust onboarding processes and knowledge-sharing initiatives, including whiteboard sessions and a competence matrix, to minimize the impact of rapid growth and ensure team cohesion. - Collaborated closely with Topic FarmOut Scrum Masters (SMs) to develop strategies for reducing attrition and mitigating its effects on team dynamics and project delivery. This role has been instrumental in deepening my expertise in Agile frameworks, stakeholder management, and fostering high-performing, collaborative teams in a complex technical environment.
